The Benchmade 7 BLKW Hook Rescue Cutter is a fixed-blade safety tool built for rapid deployment in emergency situations. Manufactured in Oregon City, Oregon, it features a permanently open hook blade made from 440C stainless steel with a skeletonized, rubber-dipped handle designed to maintain a secure grip even with gloved hands. The ambidextrous design makes it accessible for left- or right-handed users under pressure.
The hook blade geometry allows users to cut through seatbelts, webbing, cordage, and other materials without risk of puncturing or slicing unintended targets. At 4.3 inches in blade length and just 1.5 ounces, it carries easily without adding significant weight to a kit. The included Boltaron sheath protects the edge during carry and features a MOLLE-compatible belt clip for direct attachment to plate carriers, chest rigs, or packs.
This cutter is well-suited for first responders, vehicle emergency kits, tactical loadouts, and backcountry preparedness setups where fast, reliable cutting capability may be needed. Its straightforward, no-moving-parts design means there is nothing to deploy or unlock when seconds matter.
