The Pxton PX-888S is a set of UHF handheld two-way radios designed for adults who need reliable short-range communication across a variety of environments. Each radio offers 16 preset channels selectable via a rotary knob, supports 50 CTCSS and 105 CDCSS privacy codes per channel, and includes VOX voice-activation, channel scanning, low-battery alarm, and a built-in flashlight. The radios operate at 2 watts transmit power and carry an IPX6 waterproof rating, making them suitable for outdoor and light-weather use. Range varies by environment: up to 3 miles in open areas such as rural or coastal settings, and approximately 0.6–1.2 miles in urban or obstructed areas. Each radio is powered by a 3.7 V lithium-ion battery pack that charges fully in 3–4 hours and supports up to 8–12 hours of continuous use.
