Benchmade Bailout 537GY Folding Knife, CPM-M4 Tanto Plain Edge, Black Aluminum

The Benchmade Bailout 537GY is a lightweight tactical folding knife built around a 3.38-inch CPM-M4 tanto blade with a plain edge and a coated finish. CPM-M4 super steel runs at 62–64 HRC, offering strong edge retention and wear resistance suited to hard-use utility and field tasks. The tanto geometry provides a reinforced tip capable of handling demanding cutting applications.

The handle is machined from black anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum, keeping overall weight at 2.9 ounces while maintaining a solid, low-profile grip. A carbide glass breaker is integrated into the handle for emergency egress situations. The blade is secured by Benchmade’s AXIS lock mechanism, which allows smooth one-handed opening and closing and is known for its strength and reliability under load.

At under three ounces with a sub-3.5-inch blade, the Bailout is well-suited for everyday carry, tactical use, or as part of a preparedness kit where a dependable, compact cutting tool is needed.
