The Garmont T8 Defense is a suede leather tactical combat boot engineered for demanding military and law enforcement missions. The upper is constructed from 1.6–1.8 mm suede leather with polyester inserts, and the boot is AR670-1 and AFI 36-2903 compliant, making it suitable for U.S. Army and Air Force uniform wear. Impact protection is provided by D30 technology integrated into the footbed, ankle padding, and tongue, delivering shock absorption and support during extended wear. The VIBRAM Atlas outsole features Central Vortex lugs for 360-degree traction on rough terrain and during rope activities. The ArnePlant footbed with D30 inserts adds long-term underfoot comfort. Each boot (half pair, size 9 US) weighs approximately 675 g. Available in Regular and Wide fits across a broad range of US shoe sizes, the T8 Defense is designed for both men and women.
